Women in infrastructure industry award

The Award is specially presented to our award winner at CCF Tasmania’s Women in Infrastructure Gala Dinner.

Purpose and Recognition

The Women in Infrastructure Industry Award is open to nominations of any business or organisation in the civil construction industry that is a driver of change and championing gender equality. The award honours companies that are committed to creating a more inclusive workplace by innovatively building opportunities to attract and retain women, increasing women’s presence in leadership roles and continuing to advance participation of women in the industry.

Eligibility

Any business or organisation that is operating in the civil construction industry in Tasmania is eligible to nominate for this award. The nominating organisation must be able to demonstrate that they are championing change for gender equality.

Award criteria

Nominations can be made by any individual, business or organisation, irrespective of their industry.

Nominations should include:

  • an overview of the company (used in the Awards presentation) (200 words)
  • an explanation of how the company ensures that women are supported in the current culture, strategic initiatives and policies (500 words) (40%)
  • examples of key challenges faced by the company relating to the advancement of women and examples of how these have been overcome (500 words) (30%)
  • examples of how the company’s contributions were particularly innovative or significant (max 500 words) (30%)
  • business logo – high resolution jpeg (or similar format)
