This week CCF Tas celebrated the graduation of our latest participants in the High-Vis Army Civil Construction Pre-Employment Program.
Through a partnership with TasTAFE and supported by the Tasmanian Government, this program trained 14 participants in accredited and non-accredited units to upskill them to join the civil construction industry.
The Hon Minister Elise Archer and CCF Tas CEO Andrew Winch presented the participants with their graduation certificates at a ceremony in Glenorchy.
We thank TasTAFE, Keystone, BEST, HSR Consulting, TasNetworks, Lifeline, the Institute of Project Management and Area Connect for their contributions through the program.
Our host employers, Apex Vac Solutions, Batchelor Construction Group, DCS Civil, Kelly Civil Contracting, Groombridge Civil, Ian Harrington Group, Fulton Hogan, Channel Earthmoving, RCCC and Traffic Dynamix provided work experience opportunities that were integral to the success of the program.
Congratulations to the graduates and we look forward to seeing you working in the industry.
Our next program commences in March 2023 in Burnie. Applications can be submitted online on our High-Vis Army Pre-Employment page
